Sainz FIA surprise as Red Bull suffer McLaren blow

McLaren set a scorching pace on the opening day of the Bahrain Grand Prix, as Max Verstappen had to settle for seventh and eight-tenths off the leading pace. Elsewhere, Ferrari introduced a significant upgrades package and the FIA took a surprise decision in regard to Carlos Sainz swearing during Thursday's official press conference.
