Belgian Grand Prix organisers fire warning at fans
The Spa Francorchamps Circuit has laid down the law on fans attending the Belgian Grand Prix at the end of August. In recent weeks, there have been multiple instances of appalling behaviour from spectators attending races, and even people working at the event allegedly partaking in misconduct. In Silverstone, two men ended up in hospital with serious injuries after a brawl broke out, while other fans booed Max Verstappen, last year’s title rival of Sir Lewis Hamilton. The Austrian Grand Prix saw multiple reports of discrimination and harassment take place, as well as the burning of merchandise, with a cult mentality starting to take control of fans entering the premises following months...
