Leclerc wary of Verstappen's edge after Spain pole

Charles Leclerc was delighted to pull a clutch pole position out of the bag at the Spanish Grand Prix, but warns that Ferrari will not take home the victory if they cannot solve their tyre issues. Throughout qualifying, it was looking like a fascinating battle between Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes, and Max Verstappen had beaten Carlos Sainz to the fastest lap time in the first run, before Leclerc span at the final chicane and ruined his effort. However, he bounced back and, under immense pressure having seen his initial attempt go wayward, the 24-year-old put in a stunning performance to take pole for Sunday’s race.
