Mazepin comes out with statement in response to current situation
Nikita Mazepin was in action on Friday morning, but around his person it is mostly about peripheral issues rather than the times or the number of laps he managed to drive. The Russian driver is noticing the impact of the fact that his own country Ukraine was invaded this week. "To my fans and followers - it is a difficult time and I have no control over much of what is said and done. I choose to focus on what I do have control over by working hard and doing my best for my team. My deepest thanks for your understanding and support," Mazepin wrote on his Twitter account.
