Mercedes drivers sample 2022 machine
George Russell George Russell and Lewis Hamilton have both sampled Mercedes’ 2022 Formula 1 car, the W13. The pair got behind the wheel of their new steed at Silverstone following the launch of the car on Friday. Their outing came as strong winds battered the United Kingdom but afforded both drivers and the team an opportunity to get a first taste of the year ahead. “I’d say it’s the windiest day I’ve ever experienced in my whole motorsport career,” said Russell, the team’s new recruit told selected media, including Speedcafe.com. “It was absolutely crazy, but we managed to keep the car on the black stuff. “To be honest, we just went through the programme of just running...
