Prost denies Alonso involvement in Alpine departure: 'Absolutely not'
Recently Alain Prost announced his departure from Alpine. His departure is part of a restructuring of the team, which also saw departures in recent weeks. Prost was not particularly fond of some of his colleagues, but on the other hand has nothing but praise for Fernando Alonso. Prost did not have a good word to say about his former employer. He felt that Alpine handled the way the news was announced 'disrespectfully'. He also stated that his departure had to do with a 'personal relationship', with which he seems to hint at team boss Laurent Rossi.
