Birthday boy Damon Hill puts a firm grip on his future
Damon Hill is 60 years young today, so we wish the 1996 World Champion and Sky Sports pundit all the best! Damon was certainly awarded an impressive genetic inheritance from the outset, but it did not give him a head start in motorsport. Hardship and adversity provided a bumpy ride to the top, but with fortitude and courage he eventually got there, and lived up to his family's proud heritage to become the first son of an F1 world champion to take the title.
