Verstappen leads the way in all-important practice session
Ahead of today's sole practice session the air temperature is 24.7 degrees C, while the track temperature is 44.5 degrees. It is bright, sunny and very warm. In case you've been living in a cave for the last couple of months this weekend we see a new format being trialled. Following this afternoon's practice session there will be a one-hour qualifying session. The order at the end of qualifying will decide the grid for tomorrow's inaugural Sprint Qualifying - in reality a race - and the finishing order of that will decide the grid for Sunday's race.
