Problems plague Perez prior to race start

Article To news overview © Getty Images/Red Bull Contentpool Mexican driver Sergio Perez who will start 11th in today's Bahrain Grand Prix for Red Bull has had an issue firing up his engine. The new Red Bull recruit should be able to make race start without suffering any penalties though changes to the control electronics just before the start of a Grand Prix is far from ideal. A similar issue seemed to plague Pierre Gasly's AlphaTauri yesterday, though the Frenchman put in a stellar performance qualifying fifth in spite of the issue.
