Todt: Hamilton/Mercedes more dominant than Schumacher/Ferrari were

Lewis Hamilton Jean Todt believes the dominance that Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes now enjoy in Formula 1 is greater than that which Michael Schumacher and Ferrari achieved. Todt was Ferrari’s boss when the German won five drivers’ championships in a row, from 2000 to 2004, and the team bagged six straight constructors’ championships in a streak which began a year earlier. Schumacher had arrived at Maranello as a two-time world champion after claiming titles with Benetton, with Hamilton’s triumph in the 2020 season meaning that they are now tied on seven each.
