Alonso wants 2022 car in wind tunnel on Jan 1

Fernando Alonso wants Renault in the wind tunnel preparing for the 2022 regulations from January 1. Alonso recently completed a private two-day test in Bahrain driving the Renault R.S.18 as the Spaniard prepares for his 2021 comeback with the team who will by that stage be known as Alpine. But before that another two-day test in the 2018 Renault has been lined up for Alonso, at his request, to take place later in 2020. “Partly it’s him wanting to get back in shape and get back in the rhythm of driving a car,” Renault's executive director Marcin Budkowski told reporters at the Turkish Grand Prix. “But it’s an opportunity to drive and work with him on things like the steering...
