Stroll: Shocking how big of a step backwards we made

Lance Stroll ended both FP1 and FP2 sessions slowest of all on the first day of the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, the teenager clearly struggling to come to grips with the Williams FW41 which has been a big disappointment for the Grove outfit. In each session, Stroll was over three seconds off the top times. He was also half a second shy of his rookie teammate Sergey Sirotkin in the morning session, then 1.8 seconds down on the Russian in the afternoon stanza.
