2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - Qualifying Bottas beats Hamilton to pole in Abu Dhabi Mercedes will go into Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with the upper hand after Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton locked out the front row in qualifying. It was a fourth career pole for Bottas and his second in a row. Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen made it an all-Ferrari second row. And the two-by-two formation continued with Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo affixing Red Bull colours to row three.
