Mazepin to test with Force India in Abu Dhabi

Force India has confirmed Nikita Mazepin will take part in next weekend's Formula 1 tyre test in Abu Dhabi, splitting running with full-time drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon at the Yas Marina Circuit. Mazepin, 19, finished 10th in this year's FIA European Formula 3 Championship with three podium finishes to his name, and most recently tested an F1 car with Force India following the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Russian will get back behind the wheel of the Force India VJM10 car in Abu Dhabi next week as part of a two-day test to evaluate next year's tyres for Pirelli.
