Bottas tops red-flagged practice in Mexico – FP1 Report

Mexican Grand Prix – Valtteri Bottas led a Mercedes 1-2 in an incident-packed FP1 with a time of 1:17.824, almost half a second quicker than Lewis Hamilton. The pair set their fastest times on the ultrasoft tyre, whereas nearest rivals Red Bull and Ferrari set their times on the supersoft. Max Verstappen was third fastest, but withdrew from the session 20 minutes early after requesting a significant set-up change. Team mate Daniel Ricciardo was fourth, ahead of the two Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.
