Verstappen victorious in final Malaysian Grand Prix Max Verstappen took his second Formula 1 win with victory in the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo. Hamilton's race had been compromised by battery issues. But Sebastian Vettel had been on maximum attack all day, fighting his way from the back of the grid to finish in fourth. Sadly his Ferrari team mate had been unable to even start the race. There had been drama even before the start of the race.
