F1 makes 2001 Malaysian GP available after vote

– Formula 1 fans can watch the 2001 Malaysian Grand Prix online, in full, after the event came out on top in a fan vote, the first of its kind under the sport's new owner, Liberty Media.Sepang will host its 19th and final Grand Prix on October 1 and, to mark the occasion, F1 last week announced that it would share a previous race online for a 19-day period.Fans could choose from Michael Schumacher's victory in the rain in 2001, Kimi Räikkönen's first win in 2003 and Fernando Alonso beating Sergio Pérez in a wet/dry encounter in 2012.In the vote, on the official Formula 1 website and through social media, the 2001 race picked up 42.5 per cent of the votes, followed by 2012 (34.9...
