F1 fan vote launched for classic Malaysian GP stream

Formula 1 has launched a fan vote to choose a classic Malaysian Grand Prix that will be shown in full on its website and YouTube channel next week. Since its change of ownership for this year, F1 has tried to make up ground in digital media, ahead of a likely launch of an over-the-top (OTT) online video platform in the future. So far this year F1 has increased its video output on social media and through its YouTube channel, and it has also reduced restrictions on what teams and drivers are allowed to broadcast through their own channels at events.
