Palmer overjoyed with first points of 2017

– Renault's Jolyon Palmer expressed his delight at capturing his first points of the 2017 campaign after finishing in sixth place at the Singapore Grand Prix.Palmer moved into sixth on the opening lap in wet conditions at Marina Bay before picking off Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas to run fifth.He ultimately slipped behind Bottas, and was also overhauled by Carlos Sainz Jr., but fended off a charging Stoffel Vandoorne to take sixth.It marked Palmer's first points of the year, having previously placed 11th three times, and also his best result in the sport."I'm so happy, it's pretty huge," he said of the race."I don't really mind about what happened all weekend [losing his...
