Stoffel Vandoorne gets 25-place penalty for new PU parts

Stoffel Vandoorne will move down the grid at the Italian Grand Prix after he was handed a 25-place grid penalty for taking on new power unit components. Vandoorne made it through to Q3 but complained of a loss of power during the session and finished as the slowest driver, though was set to start from eighth due to penalties elsewhere. However, Honda has confirmed that a problem with the MGU-K shaft was detected. While the manufacturer feels it was possible to change it without taking a penalty, it was judged that, due to parc ferme conditions, there would not be sufficient time in which to do so.
