Kvyat edges closer to ban

Daniil Kvyat has moved to within two points of a one-race ban after being penalised for impeding Lance Stroll during Hungarian GP Qualifying. The Toro Rosso driver was handed a three-place grid demotion and one penalty point on his super licence after holding up Stroll at Turn 11 in Q1, as the Canadian tried to escape the drop - which he failed to do. While the stewards acknowledged his team had not given him enough warning of Stroll's approach, they deemed Kvyat should not have been on the racing line as he recovered from a spin. The penalty sees Kvyat drop from 13th to 16th on Sunday's grid and he is now on 10 penalty points for a 12-month period. It is the third race weekend in a row in...
