London Mayor open to F1 race in capital

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, says he is “keen to listen” to Formula 1, if the sport has proposals to hold a race in the capital. Formula 1 hosted a live event in Trafalgar Square on Wednesday, in the run up to the British Grand Prix, with 19 of the 20 drivers present, along with a host of other famous faces. Drivers conducted demonstration runs along a closed-off course in Whitehall with thousands of fans in attendance.
