'Formula 1 considers launch show for fans'

– Formula 1 is considering a pre-season launch event for fans, involving all drivers and all teams, in the build up to the 2018 campaign, according to reports.As F1's new owner, Liberty Media, gradually makes changes, Auto Motor und Sport reports that a show event is being planned before next year's winter tests begin.Rather than the staggered team presentations witnessed in recent years, often closed off to media, all cars would be presented in one place, with fans invited.A spokesman for Formula One Management would not confirm the plan, when asked by GPUpdate.net, but said that "a range of events" are being looked at "to bring the fans closer to F1"."Our...
