Max Verstappen heads Red Bull 1-2 in Baku FP1

Max Verstappen led a Red Bull 1-2 during the opening practice session for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Friday. Verstappen posted a time of 1:44.410 on the Supersoft tyres around the Baku City Circuit to finish 0.470s clear of team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, who also clocked his best effort on the red-banded rubber. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel was third quickest, his best time coming on Softs, having had a couple of off-track excursions at Turn 3 and 8 during the session.
