Abiteboul: 2021 engine talks ‘won't be easy'

Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul has said that Formula 1 shareholders will struggle to come to an agreement on the future of the sport. There is a general understanding that there are weaknesses with the current engines used in Formula 1, but Abiteboul believes that devising a better plan will be no easy task. 'That's typically an area where solutions will not be easily found, because of the complexity of the technology, because of the complexity of the question,' Abiteboul told Motorsport.com.   'You need to satisfy car makers who are financing the sport in the current model.
