Mallya arrested after extradition request

– Force India co-owner and team boss Vijay Mallya has been arrested in the UK, just over two months after India applied to extradite him, the Metropolitan Police have announced.India's government handed in the request in February after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) advised extradition, with Mallya facing charges over loans to his now defunct Kingfisher Airlines."We have handed over the request for the extradition of Mr Vijay Mallya, as received from the CBI, to the UK High Commission in New Delhi," said Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Vikas Swarup."We have an extradition treaty with the UK, and believe we have a legitimate case against...
