Haas boss hails ‘amazing' Ferrari progress

Haas team principal Gunther Steiner has praised Ferrari for what they accomplished in the first winter test at Barcelona. Ferrari were the only team other than Mercedes to clock up over 2000km at the Circuit de Catalunya, with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen racking up 267 and 201 laps respectively over the course of the first four days of testing. Haas, who have struggled massively with reliability in the past, finished fourth in the most laps completed standings with their Ferrari engine, and Steiner believes the Scuderia deserved plenty of credit. “The engine and gearbox here, we had almost a flawless test with the same engine – we never changed engine,' said Steiner....
