Palmer: I can hit ground running in 2017

– Renault's Jolyon Palmer believes he can "hit the ground running" from the start of the 2017 Formula 1 season due to his greater assimilation within the team.Palmer, having spent 2015 as Lotus' test/reserve driver, stepped up to a race seat for 2016 when the Enstone-based outfit was acquired by returning manufacturer Renault.Lumbered with uncompetitive machinery, Palmer struggled across the opening half of the season, suffering 10 straight Q1 exits, alongside finishing last in China and crashing out heavily in Monaco.Palmer, though, made progress, emerging as a regular threat to then-team-mate Kevin Magnussen, and netted his maiden point with a top 10 finish in...
