Lauda: No pre-season bluffing in 2017

– Formula 1 teams will not hide their true performance during the final pre-season test before the 2017 season begins, given the regulation overhaul, according to Mercedes chief Lauda.Formula 1's pre-season tests are often challenging to read as teams run various programmes on different tyre compounds and fuel loads, creating question marks over the pecking order.In 2016, for example, Ferrari topped both test weeks with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen, but failed to win a race and slipped to third in the standings, even further behind Mercedes.Lauda, however, says even Mercedes will be eager to find out where it stands relative to the competition, under F1's new technical era,...
