Sauber's C36 to make track debut on February 22nd

Sauber’s 2017 Formula 1 car, the C36-Ferrari, will take to the track for the first time at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 22nd, the team has confirmed to Motorsport Week. Sauber will conduct a filming day at the home of the Spanish Grand Prix, a few days before official pre-season group testing begins at the same venue. Under Formula 1 regulations, each team is permitted two filming days per year, with running restricted to 100km, during which Pirelli’s promotional tyres must be used. Sauber also intends to conduct a formal launch for its C36-Ferrari, which will be fitted with a 2016-specification power unit, but these plans have not yet been finalised. Sauber...
