Magnussen: "Nothing to IndyCar rumours"

Kevin Magnussen has scotched suggestions that he is in line for an IndyCar deal with Andretti Autosport, insisting he is still focussed on retaining his Renault Formula 1 seat. The Dane used Twitter to stress that he is still waiting for a decision from Renault, who announced Nico Hulkenberg as one of its 2017 drivers last week. Although there have been suggestions that the Renault team might replace both of its current drivers, Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer, for next season, Magnussen said he intended to remain at the team for the foreseeable future.
