Magnussen gives Renault more time for 2017 decision

Kevin Magnussen says he has agreed to give Renault another two weeks for the French manufacturer to decide whether it'll re-sign the Dane for 2017. Magnussen and teammate Jolyon Palmer, who both joined Renault for its works team's return season in Formula 1 this year, do not currently have seats for next season, as Renault continues to mull over its future line-up. A September deadline for the French marque's decision was mooted a month ago, but came to naught as Renault opted to postpone finalising its line-up.
