Ecclestone: Mercedes should have helped Ferrari a little more

Mercedes dominance was such, during the first two seasons of the new hybrid turbo power unit era, that it was reported (by us at the time) that the German manufacturer offered technical advice to Ferrari in an effort to  level the playing field. The world champion team was concerned that the manner they were dominating was having a negative impact not only on their image, but Formula 1 as a whole.
