Pirelli announced individual tyre selections for the Italian GP

F1’s tyre manufacturer Pirelli announced the individual tyre choices for the forthcoming Italian GP. Teams opted for very similiar allocations for Monza after they made ’colorful’ choices in recent races. The Italian company chose the trio of medium, soft and supersoft for the high-speed circuit of Monza. Its compounds proved to be so durable in the last seasons that it led to tactically unexciting one-stop strategies. In a bid to make the race more thrilling in terms of strategy and enable the teams to work with different strategies, Pirelli brings the supersoft compound as the softest compound available.
