FIA announces new track limit for Hockenheim's first turn

The FIA has announced new track limits at Hockenheim's first turn, with no part of the car now permitted to go beyond the outer edge of the kerb. This morning in advance of FP3 the FIA F1 Race Director Charlie Whiting has announced that following 'observations' of the way in which the new kerb at the exit of turn 12 is used, plus comments made in yesterday's drivers' briefing, that 'the usable track limit at turn 1 should be the outer edge of the kerb, i.e. the edge furthest from the track. 'The performance of any driver going beyond this point, with any part of the car, will be examined in order to establish whether or not an advantage was gained by exceeding the track...
