German GP tyre selections: Ferrari goes softer again

Ferrari will again go softer than its main rivals with its tyre selection for the German Grand Prix. The Italian squad had picked the most sets of supersofts for this weekend's race in Hungary, and has opted for the same strategy for the Hockenheim event next week. Both Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel will have nine sets of supersofts at their disposal, compared to eight for the Mercedes and Red Bull drivers. As it was the case for the Hungarian Grand Prix, most teams have decided to choose just one set of the hardest compound: the medium.
