Pirelli wants 2017 pre-season testing in Middle East

Pirelli is eager for Formula 1's pre-season testing at take place in the Middle East next year, to avoid the risk of it not uncovering potential issues because of cold conditions in Europe. For the past few seasons, testing has been restricted to Spain as a means of helping reduce costs for teams. However, with F1 undergoing such a dramatic change in car regulations for 2017, Pirelli thinks it better that pre-season running takes place in venues where track temperatures are more akin to what will be found for the early races.
