Lauda: Hamilton comments ‘blown wildly out of context'

British Grand Prix – Mercedes’ non-executive chairman Niki Lauda says that his recent comments regarding Lewis Hamilton were ‘blown wildly out of context’. The Austrian Formula 1 World Champion appeared on Servus TV, a station belonging to Red Bull, and recalled the state of Lewis Hamilton’s mind-set after losing out pole to his teammate Nico Rosberg in Baku. “He did it because he had crashed. He’ll have to pay for that [the destroyed room]. You can count on that,” said Lauda on Servus TV, “he told me I couldn’t come in because he was going to destroy everything.
