Daniil Kvyat: “It was quite a boring race today”

After finishing the Canadian Grand Prix down in twelfth, Daniil Kvyat revealed that despite it being quite a boring race, he was happy to have had a clean race weekend on the back of a handful of character-building and untidy weekends in 2016. The Scuderia Toro Rosso was on the cusp of the top ten for much of the afternoon, and was battling with Sergio Perez for the final point before his Ultrasoft Pirelli tyres cried enough and made his lose time over the closing laps that ultimately saw him drop behind Fernando Alonso into twelfth. “If I say the truth, it was quite a boring race today,” revealed Kvyat. “We were trying to fight for that last point with Perez, but they were just that...
