Maldonado: I want a second chance in F1

Pastor Maldonado wants a second chance in Formula 1, and it has been revealed the Venezuelan racing driver is in talks with a number of teams for a return in 2017. Lack of funding from Maldonado's main sponsor, PDVSA meant he was dropped over the winter break, and was replaced by Kevin Magnussen at Renault for the 2016 Formula 1 season. The former Lotus and Williams driver didn't have the best of times in Formula 1 – having been highly criticized following his constant crashes, avoidable incidents and lack of outright pace. Maldonado admits his year off in 2016 gave him time to 'reflect', and believes he has a strong chance for a race seat next year, with several drivers running out...
