Rosberg troubles related to brake problems

Monaco Grand Prix – Nico Rosberg's mysterious lack of performance in Monte Carlo has been explained away as a brake related problem. Rosberg started from the front row in P2, holding his position as the race began. However, with Daniel Ricciardo sprinting away at the front, it became evident that Rosberg had very little pace as he held up Lewis Hamilton behind him for several laps. However, Rosberg then let Hamilton through to give Mercedes a chance at the win, and the German driver eventually ended up P6 after the stops played out and the changeover from wet to intermediate and then to dry tyres.
