Haryanto casts doubt on finishing F1 season

Rio Haryanto has admitted 'funds are an issue' for him if he wants to see out his rookie F1 season with Manor Racing, but says the matter is being handled behind the scenes. The GP2 race winner became the first Indonesian to secure an F1 deal as part of an all-new driver line-up for the overhauled Manor Racing team alongside Mercedes junior Pascal Wehrlein. A deal made possible with assistance from the Indonesian government and state-backed oil company Pertamina, Haryanto has also been looking to raise funds via a text message 'crowd-fund' campaign, but says he is unsure whether it will be enough to secure him to the end of the year. “I have no answer for that right now," he told...
