Hamilton and Rosberg collide on first lap of Spanish GP

Mercedes' winning streak in Formula 1 came to a dramatic halt at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday as Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg collided on the opening lap of the race. Rosberg had overtaken pole position man Hamilton on the run through the first corner. As they exited Turn 3, Hamilton got a run on Rosberg and tried to overtake him on the inside as they headed down to Turn 4. But Rosberg moved to close the door – forcing Hamilton on to the grass as they approached the braking zone. Hamilton lost control and spun sideways, collecting Rosberg, and the pair crashed out in to the gravel trap. The world champion was furious – and threw his steering wheel out of the car as the pair...
