FP1 Live – 2016 Spanish Grand Prix

Spanish Grand Prix – Keep up to date with FP1 at the Circuit de Catalunya, the first practice session of the weekend. 09:30: With just half an hour to go until the green flag for the session, it's a clear and bright morning here in Barcelona. The track temperature is a relatively low 19 degrees with an air temp of 15, but the sun suggests these will climb rapidly throughout the morning. There's activity in the pits, as you can imagine, with cars being prepped to head out on track. One man who won't be out this morning is Kevin Magnussen. He hands over his Renault to reserve driver Esteban Ocon for the session, and will resume his cockpit in the later FP2 session in the afternoon.
