Horner: Kvyat's error "screwed our race completely"
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has admitted to frustration over the Turn 2 error by Daniil Kvyat that ruined not only his own race but that of teammate Daniel Ricciardo and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. Vettel – who was a four-time world champion with Red Bull – stomped across to Horner on the pitwall during the race to vent his fury about what happened. After the race, Horner said all he could do was apologise for his driver’s actions. “Unfortunately our race was totally screwed at the first corner,” said Horner. “I think Dani just misjudged his braking point, obviously he hit Seb, who then in turn hit the other Daniel. “At that point both the front wings are gone,...
