Sainz: Kvyat hold-up to blame for Q2 exit

Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz was left disappointed by his 11th place in qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix, saying he lost time behind local driver Daniil Kvyat. Kvyat, who drives for Toro Rosso's parent team Red Bull, was in the knockout zone as the chequered flag flew but improved with a last-gasp lap, knocking Sainz out of Q3. And the Spaniard, whose 1m37.652s lap in Q2 was insufficient for him to advance, believes he was on for a "37.3 or 37.4" before he was lost time behind the very driver who would go on to knock him out.
