Sochi FP3: Hamilton from Rosberg with Vettel chasing
There was very little separating the Mercedes duo Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at the end of the third free and final practice session of the Russian Grand Prix, as they again set the pace ahead of qualifying with Sebastian Vettel best of the rest. Hamilton set his best time of 1:36.403 in the dying minutes of the one hour session, which was a mere seven hundredth of a second quicker than Rosberg – the Silver Arrows pair were the only drivers to dip below the 97 seconds mark around the Sochi Autodrom. Vettel and Ferrari did well to bounce back after problems 24 hours earlier, the German's best time was 0.604 down on Hamilton's best but good enough for third on the timing sheets....
