Sochi FP2: Hamilton fastest as Vettel stops on track

Reigning F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton ended day one of the Russian Grand Prix weekend fastest of all in his Mercedes, while Sebastian Vettel was forced to sit out half the the session when his car came to a halt on track with an electronics issue. Slight consolation for Ferrari is the fact that the German was second fastest at the end of the ninety minutes session, but the big concern will be the reliability gremlins that are stalking the team. For Hamilton it will be a timely boost as his best time of 1:37.583 was over half a second up on Vettel's time and almost a second up on his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg who had topped the timing screens at the end of FP1 earlier in the...
