Hamilton 'staying calm' about increasing points deficit
Russian Grand Prix – Reigning Champion Lewis Hamilton says his experience is helping to keep him on the straight and narrow as he has fallen further behind Nico Rosberg in the title chase. Hamilton is coming off a series of average race results, mostly caused by poor starts and a qualifying mechanical error in China. This has allowed teammate Nico Rosberg to steal a march, storming ahead in the title battle to lead Hamilton by 36 points – almost double Hamilton's total tally so far.
