Chinese GP: Practice notes - Sauber
Overall, the Sauber F1 Team had a productive first practice day leading up to the Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit. Marcus Ericsson was able to complete a total of 53 laps. Due to red flags and issues with the car, Felipe Nasr was only able to complete eight laps in the morning; in the afternoon he was able to run 32 laps. Aerodynamic work, as well as race preparation, were part of today's programme. Marcus Ericsson: 'It's been a decent day in Shanghai. I did a lot of laps working through the planned programme, esspecially on the soft and medium compounds. We got some good information for the rest of the weekend. Performance wise we still have to find a bit more....
